I'm a free-lance writer, having abandoned my profession after thirty years.
My poems, short stories, and essays have appeared in The Buffalo News, The
Roycroft Review, Kiosk, Croton Review, Lullwater Review, and other
publications. Since 1985 I have received several poetry awards, including
first prize in the 1991 National Writers Union poetry competition and Honorable
Mention in the Ruth Cable Memorial Poetry Award (ELF: Eclectic Literary Forum)
in 1996. My husband, political activist and writer W.H. (Ted) Baines, died in
1994. I am a member of the Roycroft Wordsmiths and live in East Aurora, N.Y. |
